We are taking this seriously
by Jack Stone
Over the past few days I am sure everyone has gotten a notices from everyone who does business outlining everything they are doing to protect their staff, families and customers from the COVID-19 virus. I want to assure you that we are watching this along with all of you and we are doing everything we can do to keep you and our staff safe. Does this mean we want to discourage you from visiting us? I am not sure that is a solution either. It is what it is. We need to be vigilant and flexible. Our hope is that if you take precautions and we take precautions, we will be ok. No guarantees but we all need to do our best.
We are continually wiping down common surfaces and following directions in terms of hygiene. We won’t be shaking hands, elbow bumping, or fist bumping. And as I stated on a Facebook response, we ain’t going to be hugging you. Of course, being Norwegian, that is against my culture anyway.
If you decide to come visit, we have many, many places you can go where you can be away from the outside world. We are here so you can pick up your last-minute supplies. We just received a large order of Camp Chow that you can eat on the trail or eat at home. If you need anything and don’t want to mingle with other people, give us a call and let us be your personal shoppers. We can ship almost anything free of charge. We charge for oversized or heavy products (think kayaks, canoes and things like that), but even with some of those we may be able to work out a delivery. Just give us a call.
If you have any specific concerns or questions, I am only a phone call away. (218) 387-3572 is my land line. (612) 751-6066 is my cell if you want to text. firstname.lastname@example.org for email.
Stay safe out there and we hope to see you soon.
Are you wondering what’s going on in that picture? That’s a greeting in the time of social distancing. While we take this all very seriously, we also know how to have fun.
