We Honor Those Who Have Served

Canada-US-flagToday is Veteran’s day in the US and Remembrance Day in Canada. It is a day we honor veterans of all of our conflicts and wars, whether popular or unpopular. Some of us served during Viet Nam when it was not popular and some served in the Korean conflict that has been forgotten by many. We have fathers and grandfathers who served as far back as World War II, who took many years out of their lives and the lives of their families to keep us free. And now we have more conflicts in the Middle East, which are keeping our troops away from their families. Think of all of these folks as you go about your day.

At Stone Harbor, today is not just one day to honor our servicemen. If you are an active duty soldier, you can present your government issued ID card. We always offer a 10% discount to any purchases made. It is a small gesture we know, but it is important to us to acknowledge your service.
