Testing TrekSta, One, Two

Picture of Jan's feet in TrekSta boots, standing in a puddle

Jan is dedicated to testing the boots and shoes we carry at Stone Harbor. It’s just bonus points that the testing is so fun!

I’m walking our dogs in the rain. Their paws are wet and dirty, so I figure it’s only fair that my “paws” are exposed to the same. Except that I’m wearing my TrekSta Evo Mid GTX boots, which are keeping my feet very dry and comfortable.

The boots are very lightweight, have a dramatically contoured insole (TrekSta calls it Nesfit — like building a nest around the shape of your foot), with great arch support. The Gor-Tex liner works impeccably and there is no break-in period required.

In this photo I am testing the boots by standing in and hiking through puddles near my house. My neighbors probably think I’m nuts when they see me intentionally sloshing though ditches or ravines, smiling all the while. Oh well.
